Hi, I’m Leah!
A dog photographer, moody-weather lover, and proud German Shepherd mom. I share my life with two Shepherds who are always ready for an adventure. We spend most of our time hiking, exploring the outdoors, and embracing every kind of PNW weather. Rain or shine, we’re out there.
My photography journey started with my black German shepherd, Kaida. She’s the reason I picked up a camera and discovered how much I love capturing dogs in their element, whether that's in the mist, running through forests, or standing strong in a beautiful landscape. She showed me how meaningful it is to capture those small moments.
My other Shepherd, Kova, has shaped me in a completely different way. He’s a more complex, sensitive dog, and through him I’ve learned that reactive dogs deserve just as much love, patience, and appreciation as any other dog. Because of Kova, I have a special place in my heart for reactive and more sensitive dogs, and I truly love creating sessions that are tailored to help them feel safe, seen, and comfortable.
Moody skies, foggy mornings, quiet trails, is where I feel most at home, and where dogs often show their truest selves. Beyond the camera, I deeply value the relationships I build with my clients and their dogs. Our pets hold such a special place in our lives, and it means everything to me to be trusted with their stories. My goal isn’t just to create beautiful photos, but to capture memories that feel warm, honest, and unforgettable, the kind you’ll hold onto forever.

What Makes My Work Different
I specialize in dog photography in the Pacific Northwest, focusing on natural, posed and unposed images of dogs in outdoor environments.
Sessions are adjusted for each dog’s behavior, including reactive dogs, shy dogs, and high-energy breeds. I do not use studio posing or forced expressions.
Work is focused on natural light pet photography, outdoor dog portraits, and lifestyle dog photography with a clean, moody editing style.
What to Expect During a Session
Dog photography sessions are structured but flexible based on behavior and environment.
I guide clients through positioning, but all sessions are adapted to the dog’s comfort level, energy, and reactivity. Breaks and adjustments are included as needed.
No obedience or posing is required. Sessions are designed around real behavior for natural dog portraits in outdoor locations.
